CSA

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a collaboration between consumers and farmers. Individuals or families join our farm each year in order to receive the freshest vegetables money can buy at far less than the normal retail price. Us farmers, meanwhile, know exactly what to grow and can tailor the harvest to best suit our members’ needs.

Pasture-Raised Meats

All of our livestock is raised outside on pasture. Our chickens scratch in the dirt and catch dewy grasshoppers in the morning, and our sheep are moved to a new paddock of grass and clover every day. This is meat you can feel good about.

The Farmers

Sunrise Farm has been in business since 2000 and is owned and run by Chuck Wooster. Drea Emslie manages the vegetable side of the business and is integrally involved in running the farm overall. Trevor Lohr manages the animals, India Noffke manages the crew, and Colleen Klehm manages everything else. Every year we hire 2 more employees to help harvest vegetables, move sheep, care for chickens, and run the CSA.
