2019 CSA shares
If you'd like to be on our CSA email list for 2019, use the CSA Sign-Up form. We’ll start signing folks up in January, and the CSA will open in April.
January 2019: We’re now hiring two full-time positions for the 2019 season, one to run from April through November and the other from May through September. See the “contact” page for more details and to get in touch.
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a collaboration between consumers and farmers. Individuals or families join our farm each year in order to receive the freshest vegetables money can buy, at 30% less than the normal retail price. Us farmers, meanwhile, know exactly what to grow and can tailor the harvest to best suit our members’ needs.
Sunrise Farm has been in business since 2000 and is owned by Chuck and his wife Sue. Jennica Stetler manages the vegetable side of the business and is integrally involved in running the farm overall. Every year we hire 3 to 4 employees to help harvest vegetables, move sheep, care for chickens, and run the CSA. (Note that all of our positions are filled for 2018, though do get in touch if you're interested for the future.)
