We grow vegetables that are sold exclusively through our on-farm CSA from May through October and organic winter greens through local food coops and restaurants from November through April. We also sell our own pasture-raised lambchickeneggsmaple syrup, and honey both to CSA shareholders and members of the public at our farmstand on Route 5, Mondays and Thursdays between 11 AM and 6 PM. We also work with neighboring farms to offer their beef, pork, cheese, and other products.

Now is a great time to stock up on local meats for the winter! At our farmstead, you can buy individual packages of ground beef and beef steaks (from Clay Hill Farm in Hartland), ground mutton, lamb sausage, and whole chickens (our own Sunrise Farm), and a variety of sausages and pork products (from VT 99 in Greensboro Bend.) If you'd like to pre-order larger quantities of lamb, beef, chicken, or pork, click on the links below.

CSA

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a collaboration between consumers and farmers. Individuals or families join our farm each year in order to receive the freshest vegetables money can buy, at 30% less than the normal retail price. Us farmers, meanwhile, know exactly what to grow and can tailor the harvest to best suit our members’ needs.

CSA

Pasture-Raised Meats

All of our livestock is raised outside on pasture. Our chickens scratch in the dirt and catch dewy grasshoppers in the morning, and our sheep are moved to a new paddock of grass and clover every day. This is meat you can feel good about.

Lamb, Chicken,  Beef and Partner Farms

The Farmers

Sunrise Farm is a partnership between Chuck, Jennica, and Sayer. On such a diversified farm, three minds are better than one! Every year we hire 3 to 4 employees to help harvest vegetables, move sheep, care for chickens, and serve the CSA.
